Creamy Lamb Chops

Soooo, this is one of those recipes where I watched a lot of videos and couldn’t decided who’s recipe I wanted to use, so I let the spirit lead me. So I will be adding the ingredients and typing this recipe up...as I remember it..Lol!

Here’s what I used:

Meat:

  • 1 rack of lamb chops

Seasonings:

  • Kinder’s - Golden Roasted Chicken

  • Kinder’s - Brown Sugar

  • Kinder’s - Buttery Steakhouse

  • Mrs. Dash - Onion and Herb

  • Lemon Pepper

  • Crushed Red Pepper

  • Restaurant Style Black Pepper

  • Fine Sea Salt

  • Liquid Smoke

After cleaning your lamb chops, pat them dry and add a little bit of olive oil, this is to help the seasonings stick.

Next, you want to put about a teaspoon or tablespoon of each seasoning (except red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.. you want dont want to use too much of those so eyeball it, maybe 1/2 or 1/4 teaspoon of those two) into a small mixing bowl. You may not use all of your seasoning mix, but you want to coat your lamb chops front and back. Save remaining seasoning mix for later.

Now, you’ll need a ziplock back to put your lamb chops in. Once they are in the ziplock, add in about 2 tablespoons of Liquid Smoke and massage your meat.

Refrigerate for at least 30 mins.

Let’s start on our skillet butter. You’ll need:

  • 1/2 stick of butter

  • 1 T olive oil

  • 1/2 lemon (juice and zest)

  • 1 T - fresh rosemary

  • 2 T - fresh parsley

  • 2 T - minced garlic paste

  • 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese

  • Heavy Whipping Cream (ADD TO PAN ONLY)

Now, melt your butter just until creamy, add olive oil, garlic paste lemon zest and juice, parsley, and rosemary. You can add a dash or two of red pepper flakes or about a pinch of your seasoning mix. Add in parmesan cheese. Set aside.

Take out your lamb chops and let them set our for about 15 mins before cooking,

Heat up your cast iron skillet with olive oil.

Add in lamb chop and press down so that they sear properly.

Cook for about 3-4 mins per side (roughly medium well)

Remove lamb chops and in the same cast iron, add in your skill butter.

Here is where I add in my heavy whipping cream as my butter starts to brown. Here I added in extra parmesan cheese but you can taste your sauce as you go.

Drizzle sauce over chops and enjoy.

I hope this helps!
